| Northern Kentucky Youth Foundation Unveils New Capital Campaign
“Somewhere to Grow†PSA to Debut on Local Media, Wins Celebrity Support
December 27, 2010 – Covington, KY— As the holiday season draws to a close, we look towards a new year with the intentions of carrying the same holiday spirit of charity and hope throughout the days to come. It is now, more than ever, that non-profits like the Northern Kentucky Youth Foundation need capital, and it is with that same sense of hope and charity that they announce their “Somewhere to Grow†capital campaign.
The first public service announcement for the campaign was produced in conjunction with Plum Street Productions and expresses the need for youth programming in Northern Kentucky.
“Somewhere to Grow,†along with the NKY Youth Foundation has also won the support of celebrity, philanthropist and Northern Kentucky resident Bobby Mackey, who will be endorsing the campaign at his nightclub, Bobby Mackey’s, on Saturday, January 8th.
“To have such a solid partnership with someone so invested in the Northern Kentucky community is truly invaluable,†NKY Youth Foundation Executive Director Ryan Courtade said. “He is as passionate about helping the youth in this community as he is about his own family.â€
Proceeds from admission for the January 8th event will go to support the NKY Youth Foundation and are $5 a person 21 and up. Adults 18-20 is $10.
